Anamorf and Celvert
Crops must be supplemented with Integrated Nutrient Management for increased yield and quality. In the absence of Integrated Nutrition, Crop growth and Soil conditions are adversely affected resulting in secretion of metabolites which attract pests / insects. This also reduces the inherent disease resistance capacity of the crop. The use of Chemical Pesticides / Insecticides increases largely and results in killing of the beneficial microbes in the soil and further increases resistance of pests against these chemicals.
The major target pests / insects are Mealy Bug, Thrips, , White grubs, Jassids, Aphids, Scale insects, Mites Ticks and other sap sucking insects, root weevils, etc

- With its research and experience, the In-house Biological R & D DIVISION of Manshya
Group has developed two Biological products with beneficial Fungal spps. - These contain helpful microorganisms that naturally infect and kill insects and are designed to
target specific pests. - We provide a high spore count in these products which makes these products more effective
and provide precise pest management.
Anamorf contains beneficial fungi – Beauveria bassiana
Celvert contains beneficial fungi – Verticilium lecanii
These Beneficial fungal spps. are registered under CIB for use as bio-control agents against wide range of plant insect pests.

Benefits –
- Are highly effective entomopathogenic fungus and effectively control the pests in economically important crop in agriculture.
- Function as a Plant Bio Stimulant
- Are rhizosphere colonizer which means they can enter the crop system as well as grow in the
active root zone of the soil - Establish a mutually beneficial symbiosis and promote plant growth
- Improve plant adaptability towards biotic and abiotic stress.
- Pest reduction leads to improved plant health and increase in crop productivity.
Mode of action :
After the application of Anamorf and Celvert through soil or spray on the crop, the microscopic spores of the fungi in the products come in contact with the body of an insect host.
The spores germinate get attached to the cuticle (shell/skin) of the insect and breaks it down with enzymes.
The microbes work as a parasite of insect pests.
They enters the hemolymph (the insect blood stream) and rapidly grow inside the host.
The fungal mycelia start absorbing the nutrients from the body fluid, kill the insect within few
days.
A white mold emerges from the cadaver and produces new spores inside the target pest as
shown below.

Application of Anamorf and Celvert is most effective when
- Humidity is high – Late afternoon or cloudy / rainy days
- At warm temperatures 64° – 85°F (18° – 29°C).
To be used proactively targeting younger insect larvae for better insect control.
CFU : Colony forming units – Powder :1×108 Cells per g
Advisory Dose – Soil : 1 kg per acre, Spray : 5 g per litre water
Applications to be repeated if insect population is high. Adequate control can been seen in 6 – 14 days. Proper time of application to be focused. Anamorf and Celvert must be given together for pest control and reduction in infectivity.
