MICRONUTRIENT FERTILISERS – Sequest Combi & Zinstar 70
CHELATED MICRONUTRIENTS
An Organic molecule known as Chelating agent such as Amino Acid, Humic acid, Sea weed extract or Synthetic agent EDTA selectively binds the metal ion in a protective grip. Cations (+ vely charged) mainly Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Ca, Mg, etc are chelated. Chelates are required in a very low quantity as against Inorganic fertilisers.
Chelation process removes the positive charge from the cation allowing the negatively charged chelate to slide through the pores on the leaf and root surface making it easy to enter the crop system. Therefore the nutrients become completely available to the crop and there is no loss due to fixation or leaching.
Sequest Combi – 100 % Soluble Chelated Multi Micronutrients

Sequest Combi is a balanced Multi Micronutrient fertiliser containing Fe, Mn, Zn & Cu in EDTA chelated form. B & Mo are also in the complex form.
Rate of Application –
For Soil – @ 500 g to 1 kg per acre
For Drip – @ 250 g per acre per week for horticultural & vegetable crops.
For Foliar – 1 g per litre of water for all crop at all stages of growth.
Benefits of Sequest Combi –
- Highly soluble in water and therefore easily absorbed by the plant roots and through stomatal openings.
- Required in a very low quantity as chelates are fully available to the crop.
- Highly recommended for Horticulture and High value crops.
- Fast Mobility and easy absorption of nutrients.
- Can be given through Soil, Drip and Foliar.
- No fixation in soil and compatible with Phosphorus (P) and WS NPK,
- Can be given with Pesticides, fungicides or other similar products.
- Very effective for Alkaline Soils (pH above 7.5).
- Less chance of scorching when supplemented through foliar as they are Organic in nature.
- Not leached out easily from the soil as they adsorb on the soil particles
Zinstar – 70 – Zinc Oxide Suspension Concentrate – ( 39.5 % Zinc) Our Advance Technology Product

Zinc is an essential micronutrient required for the growth and development of Crops. It is required by the Crops in small amounts at all the stages of growth starting from first leaf initiation till harvesting. In India, Zinc (Zn) is considered the fifth most important yield limiting nutrient after N,P,K & S in all the crops.
Rate of Foliar Application –
For mature Tea – 5 foliar sprays / year after shearing of bushes – in the month of April, May , June September and October – @ 0.5 to 1 ml per litre of water per application.
For young Tea – 5 foliar sprays / year after shearing of bushes – in the month of April, May , June September and October – @ 0.5 ml per litre of water.
Benefits of Zinstar -70 –
- Zinstar-70 is a fast dispersing liquid formulation containing 39.5 % Zinc.
- Zn content is much more than other chelated powder or liquid fertilisers, hence
gives better results in smaller doses. - Mainly for Foliar supplementation.
- Zn is in oxide form becomes easily available to the Crops and is compatible
with almost all fertilisers. - Oxide suspension with micronized particles becomes easily available and has
long lasting effects - Ensures vigorous apical growth, root & shoot growth, increases stem length and
internodal distance, ensures proper bud formation and ensures even expanse of leaf
size. - Increased photosynthetic activity of the Crop, increases the carbohydrate content. This
increases the quality and quantity of the Tea. - Helps the Crop to withstand cold temperature conditions and also water stress
conditions. - Among all metals, Zinc is required more for most of the activities occurring in the crop
system. - Reduces the incidence of “Banjhi buds” or no buds.
- Compatible with most of the fertilisers and other chemicals
